[Short Course] The Methods & Manners of Seeking Knowledge

From the start of 2023, Saeed Institute delivered its first adult course which ran over 7 weeks of 90 minute weekly sessions. This was followed by a final online class to finish the text. The class was attended in person at Essa Academy by several students, whilst the majority joined via online streaming.

The book - Ta’leem al-Muta’allim or Instruction to the Student - is a time honoured book by Imam Zarnuji which gives golden advice to students on how and why they should pursue sacred knowledge. It also gives advice on how to reap the most benefit in one's learning journey and avoid pitfalls when treading this path.

The feedback from the course was very positive with students appreciating the insight from the book, as well as the candid and engaging teaching style of the teacher. We hope to reach more students in our forthcoming courses.
