A Night of Remembrance 2022

The 22nd of October 2022 saw the Saeed Institute’s annual Night of Remembrance in celebration of the blessed month of Rabi ul-awwal. The event was sold out before the night commenced, and families came together to sing praises of the beloved. We were joined by the renowned Birr wa Taqwa nasheed group from London, who sang uplifting traditional songs and nasheeds from the heart. All who were present were wowed by their skilful and moving performance.

On the night, delicious starters, biryani, desserts and drinks were also available for sale. There was also a souk bazaar selling beautiful crafts, books and jewelry for guests to enjoy before and after the event.

The evening ended with a heartwarming reminder by Shaykh Siddiq Mitha, who reminded everyone of the importance of love and veneration of the messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
